Full Motor Switching Capacity

• AC-3 switching capacity per IEC/EN 60947-3, rated at 690V/32A, meaning the socket is built to switch motor loads directly (with their inrush and interruption characteristics), not just serve as a static power connection point.
• Motor power ratings: 7.5 kW at 220/230/240V, 15 kW at 380/400/415V, 30 kW at 600/690V.
• Current must be reduced to 25A for frequencies above 100 Hz.

Built for Reliable, Repeated Use

• Self-cleaning lamellar contacts maintain optimum contact quality over repeated insertion/removal cycles, reducing the contact degradation that affects simpler socket designs over time.
• Plugs insert and remove only in the zero (off) position, preventing hot disconnection under load.
• Integrated load disconnect switch with mechanical locking device — the handle locks in either the 0 (off) or I (on) position, adding a physical safety interlock against accidental operation.

Optional Auxiliary Contacts for Control and Signalling

• Pluggable, easily retrofittable Ex e or Ex i auxiliary contacts add control and signalling capability without needing a different base socket.
• Available in 1 NO (normally open) or 1 NC (normally closed) configurations, with standard or gold-plated contacts, rated up to 500V AC / 110V DC, 6A.

Flexible Configuration Options

• Available in 4-pin (3P+PE) and 5-pin (3P+N+PE) configurations, covering a wide span of voltage ranges from under 50V AC up to 690V AC.
